I can’t figure out the formatting. I don’t know what to write. I don’t have any branding. I don’t know how to make a website. Where do I start? No one is going to read this. Why am I doing this? Am I really doing it again – starting another business – I must be crazy.

Excuses. Fear. Inhibitions galore. All I hear is blah blah ba-lah.

Then I read one mind-altering sentence. “Done is better than perfect”

Okay. Okay.

In the midst of some substantial life changes and readjustments, maintaining positivity was, and still is, a vital part of my everyday mentality. A solid foundation is key to building a strong structure whether you’re talking business, home life, relationships, and – the most important – your own temple. Your mindset changes everything. It’s important to be good to yourself, take care of your body and be familiar with all that goes on within that temple, and keep a comfortable home environment for your own peace of mind and daily flow. Chaos is highly contagious. Us Cancers are extremely receptive and absorbent of surrounding energies, and so a home in disarray, a negative individual, or an exhausting workplace can be draining to any person . When I created a more simple, pleasant, happy environment for myself, I noticed a change that trickled throughout my life.

I created this little company, POP Studios PR, at the beginning of 2016. POP: Power Of Positivity. My goal is to instill the same mindset and tone in my clients and make positivity contagious. I enjoy working with those who do good and want to make a difference in the lives of their own clients or customers. Currently, I work with natural food brands and hard working urban farmers by way of a mobile market; a holistic health practitioner and acupuncturist who is a true healer; a barbecue pit master (like a good Texas girl); a restaurant group crafted and conducted by a very talented local Chef; and a super savvy event planner who’s roped in the best of the Houston’s wedding talent. I’ve actually worked with most of my clients in the past now that I think about it. They’re all making big things happen in and around this city and I’m proud to be a part of it.

I’m a born and raised Houstonian with an appetite for nourishing brands which are fueled by passion. I’m a health conscious fat kid at heart. As you can see, my work is quite enjoyable and there’s a whole slew I haven’t even touched yet. I’m excited to contribute toward their growth and I hope you will be supportive of mine. It’s not perfect, but it’s done.
